Brazil’s presidential runoff election, in pictures

The Brazilian 2022 presidential election is historic in many ways.

For the first time, a former president and an incumbent faced off. It was also the first time a sitting president lost his re-election bid. It was the tightest presidential vote in Brazilian democratic history – and the one that saw the largest number of voters involved (over 123.7 million citizens showed up to the polls).
