Indian Army TES 49 : Age Limit
A candidate can’t be younger than 16½ or older than 19½ on the first day of the month when the course starts. This means that he or she can’t have been born before July 2, 2003 or after July 1, 2006.

Indian Army TES 49 : Educational Qualification
- The only people who can apply for this entry are those who have passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Math from a recognised education board.
- Only marks from Class XII will be used to figure out eligibility for calculating PCM percentages for different state and central boards.
- The applicant must have taken the JEE (Mains) in 2022.
Indian Army TES 49 : Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the 49th Technical Entry Scheme, people who are interested must check the Eligibility Criteria. Before applying, a candidate must meet all of the requirements listed below.
A candidate must be an unmarried male who is:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Bhutan
- A subject of Nepal
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) above has a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
- Candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal, on the other hand, will not need a certificate of eligibility. A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility may be shortlisted provisionally pending receipt of the necessary certificate from the government prior to the announcement of the result by the SSB/joining training.
