Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice 2022-23 -> The Indian Navy has released a new notice for the recruitment of ITI-qualified Indian nationals for Apprenticeship Training in the following designated trades for a period of one year at Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, [DAS (Vzg)] for the training batch 2023-24. Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice 2022-23 : Selection Process
In a ratio of 70:30, candidates will be chosen for call letters based on their scores on the SSC/Matriculation/Class 10 exam and their ITI scores. A merit list will be made.
Call letters for the written exam will be sent to the shortlisted applicants in the ratio of 1:5 against the number of open positions in each trade and category in order to keep the reservation quota according to the current rules.
Written tests would be objective and have 50 questions: 20 on maths, 20 on general science, and 10 on general knowledge. Each question would be worth 1.5 marks.
In different reservation categories and trades, candidates would be called in for an interview in the order of how well they did on the written test.
The interview is based on how well the candidates know how to do their trade.
Those who make it to the final round of interviews will have to go through a medical exam.

Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice 2022-23 : How To Apply
Under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), the following steps must be taken to apply for Apprenticeship Training at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in: –
Visit the website www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. The website’s home page would then open.
On the home page, click the Register module link. Then, a drop-down menu with several choices will show up. Click on Candidate from the menu that drops down.
The page titled Candidate Registration would open. The candidate must fill out the form with his personal information and contact information, and then click the “submit” button to send the application.
After the application was sent in, a system-generated email would be sent to the email address to activate the profile. Candidates must make their profiles public.
Go back to www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in’s main page. On the home page, click on “Login.” The candidate’s registered gmail ID and password are needed to open the profile.
After logging in, candidates must enter or change their personal information, education information, their preferred trade, and their Aadhar number.
After the registration process is over, open the candidate’s profile, download and print it from the website, and send it to DAS (Vzg).
Take a printout of the format for the hall ticket that is in part II of Annexure I of this ad.
Along with the Apprentice Profile, you need to send in two original hall tickets that have been properly filled out by the candidate and two recent passport-style colour photos that have been stuck in the designated box.
Both online (profile registration at web portal) and offline (hard copy of application by post) are required for an applicant to be considered for further review and to get a hall ticket for a written exam. If both the online and offline applications aren’t received, the applicant is automatically disqualified.
