PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment 2022-23 : Selection Process
Only a written test or a test conducted on a computer will be used as the method of selection.
The written test will be of the objective type (each question will have four possible answers), will last for two hours, and will be divided into two parts: the reading comprehension section and the essay section.
The first part of the exam is called the Technical Knowledge Test/Professional Knowledge Test (TKT/PKT), and it has 120 questions total. These questions are discipline-specific and come from a variety of fields.
Aptitude Test (AT) is the second part of the exam, and it consists of fifty questions covering topics such as vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, arithmetic ability, and more.
The questions would all be multiple-choice with four possible answers, and they would each be worth the same amount of points (1 mark each). Incorrect and numerous responses would both result in a mark of minus 14 for the student. Candidates will be able to choose whether to take the written test in English or Hindi as their preferred language.
