Sydney Wallace, 25, bought two Taylor Swift tickets after eight hours of waiting. Wallace had 14 overdraft fees,

$9,000 in pending charges, a closed bank account, and no tickets.

Wallace told Insider she added her credit card information to SeatGeek in advance to ease a procedure making national headlines for its roughness.

Wallace tried to check out but couldn't. Ticket prices rose from $559 to $564 per pair due to dynamic pricing, which modifies rates based on demand.
