Doubletree Cookie Recipe
Warm, soft, chewy DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies are the best.
The oatmeal-walnut chocolate chip cookies are larger than usual.
300°F oven.
Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar with a stand mixer for 2 minutes on medium speed.
Add eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice and mix on low speed for 30 seconds, then medium speed for 2 minutes until light and fluffy, scraping bowl.
Mix flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon for 45 seconds on low speed. Avoid overmixing.
Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Scoop 3 teaspoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake until rims are golden and centre is soft, 20–23 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet for 1 hour.
