New Disney film flops at the box office

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Devotion, The Fabelmans, and Bones and All are popular Christmas films.

Disney's latest animated picture, Strange World, isn't doing well at the box office.

Variety says that the film only raked in $800,000 in Tuesday screenings, giving it a shaky start to the holiday weekend.

Early estimates indicate that Disney won't eat the $30 million to $40 million that Strange World was anticipated to eat over the next five days, but all is not lost.

The animated film's primary audience is younger, so early Tuesday showings are unlikely.

There's still a potential a significant number of young and old(er) people will travel with the Clade family.
